Scott and Janae | Lock 12 Holtwood | Engagement Session

I love engagement sessions as it's a time to become creative and have fun with a couple while scouting out new locations.  This engagement session held even deeper love as Janae's life has been a journey that I got to follow from birth.   I was honored when I was asked to be the photographer for Scott and Janae's big day. 

Watching this beautiful lady grow from an infant all the way through to a woman and now a bride has been a joy.  She is passionate about her heritage in Farming and is a woman of Grace and has a deep love for the Lord.   Scott came into her life many years ago as they met through FFA and their common interests are many. His love for her is clear!

Janae  suggested Lock 12in Holtwood PA, as her location for engagement photos.  On a very windy evening in April, we headed to Holtwood to explore the Holtwood Dam and Norman Wood Bridge, as well as the remains of the canal at Lock 12.  The canal had some water in it which made us have to work a little harder to get images of the two of them without getting our feet soaked.  We accomplished it and had a lot of laughs along the way. 

We could not forget to include the beloved motorcycle in the session. Both Scott and Janae have a love for riding and it was a fun twist on photos. 

I am counting down the days until I get to witness these two become one as they say their vows on their beautiful farm in May.
