Chelsea + Dan | Strasburg Engagement Session
Dan and Chelsea will be married at Normandy Farm later this year and with the ceremony venue being a bit of a nontraditional barn, they wanted to do a Lancaster County farm feel engagement. We have loads of great places to choose from so we headed to one of my favorite farms and willow trees to capture some golden sun for their engagement images.
Dan and Chelsea met while Chelsea was in college in New Jersey, he in Northeast Philly. A successful online "OkCupid" profile connected her to Dan. A blind date to a pub type restaurant was going to assure them a fun night of getting to know each other over some games of Quizzo. Unbeknownst to Chelsea, the pub had changed their calendar and her blind date night was now a live band playing 90's Grunge. It wasn't the setting she saw for her first date with Dan but it has made for some fun memories!
Dan proposed on the day that he completed the home remodel of his house in Philly so that they could begin house hunting together. He was proud to send Chelsea to check out his final project, the newly remodeled bathroom - inside she found candles, rose petals and Dan on one knee outside the doorway ready to begin the next and best chapter of his life. She, of course, said YES and off to a romantic dinner, they headed keeping their proposal secret only to themselves so they could cherish every second of the evening.
Having spent a few hours with Chelsea and Dan on a warm, golden evening a few weeks ago, it's not hard to believe that Dan is a true romantic and Chelsea appreciates it all! Chelsea has worked hard to prepare for her wedding day and I am excited to share a small part of their day in a few short months!
